Trocadero Lounge, April 2006. The Trocadero Lounge is a place where various jazz musicians come to jam and record in this tiny space on Sunday nights in San Francisco. It is also the home of Charles Bocchetti, who commisioned this mural on the ceiling of the studio. I have had many glorious nights here listening to music that sounds as if it was recorded but it is all spontaneous- an environment/vacation for me to escape from the visual arts into the auditory. Thank you Charles Bocchetti for your hospitality, dinners, and violent Wing Chung lessons.

My intenet here was to have my work visually represent those who are entering the studio door (blue) as opposed to those who are already there (center outlined in black). Tough to shoot. Hi!
