- This piece was a great change as it is meant to be viewed as two large white shapes so I had to paint 'in reverse'. It is named after my friend Helen, who moved to exile in England. After a year, I went back and did new work on this after seeing lots of art in New York. |

- This is a piece about loss, as if you had lost someone. It's not about some jock saying "Lose her, man". I have one of my shapes on the right side... this was hard to shoot as there are different shades of black. Yeah, it's grim; not for the kitchen. |
